Etna Botanic Garden
Etna Botanic Garden in Mascalucia was created by the landscape architect Salvatore Bonajuto. The garden was designed on a land rich in history. In ancient times it was covered by a lava flow and the rocky outcrops are still visible in the garden today. The past though is brilliantly connected to the present: in the garden, next to traditional and historical elements, are in fact placed original and eclectic contemporary sculptures. Gardens spontaneously evolve in time, but the Etna Botanic Garden has transformed into an art park that harmoniously combines the botanical and artistic choices of its curator.
